Austin Crime: Two Female Suspects Sought in Robbery on Burnet Road

The Austin Police Department is asking for tips in a case involving a robbery at 5353 Burnet Road several months ago.

According to APD’s Robbery Department, the victim of the robbery agreed to meet the first female suspect, described as a White or Hispanic woman in her early 20s, in order to sell some property. The police are not saying what that was.

The driver of the Kia, a Black woman in her early 20s, displayed a weapon and told the victim they were taking the property without paying for it.

“The victim then attempted to recover their property and was assaulted by suspect #2, resulting in non-life threatening injuries,” police said.
