Officers responding to a 9-1-1 call Friday night at about 10:00 pm found two people lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. They are looking for a suspect in the incident.
The shooting happened at the Capital Steps apartment located off Cameron Road near Dell Children’s Medical Center. The victims were both transported to a nearby hospital.
The scene of this crime is just 1.6 miles from another Cameron Road apartment where a victim was stabbed to death June 27. The victim in that incident, Bobby Deshawn Hill, 23, was found unresponsive in the parking lot of an apartment at about 3:00 am.
